The Wellness Ranch is a bold and scalable response for high-impact on the San Francisco Bay Area region’s homelessness crisis. The Ranch offers essential shelter and both interim and permanent supportive housing, paired with personalized programs that support individuals on their path to stability. Set in a peaceful rural environment, it fosters a supportive community where residents can restore dignity, build vital life skills, and take meaningful steps toward independent living.

Analyzing development options based on location, city requirements, and funding sources. The San Francisco/South of Market project could include both affordable and permanent supportive housing and services. There are 4 different development options that range in size from 15 units to 200 units.

DignityMoves, in partnership with the City of San Francisco (HSH), Tipping Point, Urban Alchemy and HomeFirst in addition to support from UVA and Alliance partners, Gensler and Nextdoor, upgraded 33 Gough Street, a safe sleeping site with 44 tents, to a thoughtfully designed community with 70 sleeping cabins, offices, dining, and common areas.
