UVA has partnered with Seeds of Hope Silicon Valley and two UVA Alliance members, architect WRNS Studio and civil engineer BKF Engineers, to develop the Corie Court site in San Jose, CA. This is a 26-acre site by the Municipal Golf Course and Coyote Creek. Approximately five (5) acres of the parcel can be developed for 140 - 180 permanent supportive homes and essential support services. The concept is based on the successful model of the Community First! Village in Austin, TX. The Village, which opened in 2015, provides homes for 420 residents on 54 acres of land with an additional 500 residential units in development.
Ending homelessness takes a collective effort. Meet the organizations—both alliance members and supporters—contributing to real change.
